I am Michael Pomirchy, a Ph.D Candidate in the Department of Politics at Princeton University. My concentrations are in American Politics and Political Economy. My research is about accountability and representation in the U.S. context. I use statistical methods and formal theory.
I am currently in my fifth year at Princeton, and I am affiliated with the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics. In the 2020-2021 academic year, I am a Fellow for the Program for Quantitative and Analytical Political Science (Q-APS). Before coming to Princeton, I received my MSc in Political Science and Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from California State University, Los Angeles.
