I am Michael Pomirchy, and I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Yale University’s Institution for Social and Policy Studies (ISPS). I recently received my Ph.D in Politics from Princeton University, with concentrations in American Politics and Political Economy. My research is about accountability and representation in the U.S. context. I use statistical methods and formal theory.
At Princeton, I was affiliated with the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics and was a Fellow for the Program for Quantitative and Analytical Political Science (Q-APS) from 2020-2022. Before coming to Princeton, I received my MSc in Political Science and Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from California State University, Los Angeles.
